Turn it into a monthly income
How this works: monthly amounts are invested at the start of each month. PPF and Sukanya Samriddhi are paid as one yearly deposit by 5 April, with interest worked out on the balance after the 5th of each month. Sukanya Samriddhi deposits stop after 15 years; from 18, half the balance can be withdrawn for education. NPS counts from 60, and only the lump sum (up to 80%) is usable then; EPF counts from 58. Rates are this quarter’s scheme rates and assumed market returns you can change.
This tool does the maths. It does not recommend a product. Past returns are not a guarantee.
Common questions
Can I combine SIP, PPF and NPS in one plan?
Yes. The plan builder adds each instrument's value at your goal date, separates what you can withdraw then from what is still locked (PPF before year 15, NPS before 60, EPF before 58), and shows the gap to your target.
Why is NPS shown as locked?
The planner counts NPS from 60. The rules also allow an exit after 15 years in the scheme, but 60 is the cautious assumption. Before that it counts toward later goals but not toward an earlier one. At exit, up to 80% can be taken as a lump sum and at least 20% buys a pension.
Is my plan saved anywhere?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser. Copy plan link puts the plan in the link itself, so only someone you share it with can open it.
